You are looking at the last update for G1 of the Scooters.
Thank you for joining me so far. This save is fun and I really want to see it through to the end.
Now let's get going!

What's got you feeling so excellent today, Sebastian?
Sebastian: I just had seeEEEeeX and it felt so good

Okay actually, Percy has so much fucking money. Every now and then I just give Jay or Swati a fun gift of ten thousand Simoleons.
Jay: Percy, please, I can't pay this back to you....
Percy: No repayment necessary, my friend! Please take it! I am literally just sitting on it.
Jay: O--okay....

Jay: O--okay....

This boy's met his goal and mastered the Baking skill! He celebrated by having some Level 1-ass brownies.
Sebastian: Hey. If it ain't broke, don't fix it son.

Though prom was still a whole semester way, Josie had to lock down her choice quick. She dropped the big question on Matangi when he invited her to the stores one day.
Josie: So...Mat.
Matangi: Yeah, bud?
Josie: This year's prom...I was--I was wondering if you wanted to go.
Matangi: Wait--prom? Uh, Josie...
Josie: I think it'd be cool if we went, but not as friends, I want us to go together. Together-together. You know?
Matangi: ...
Josie: (inhales, exhales) I think I really like you, Mat, and it'd be a real regret if I never asked you to make it official like this.

Matangi: Josie.... Aw, man. I... I'm sorry. I'm really. Sorry. But I can't go with you to the prom.
Josie: Wh...why not?
Matangi: Mom and dad...we're moving back to Brindleton Bay by the end of the semester. We're sticking around just until I graduate, and then we're gone.
Josie: Wait...you're moving back to Nova Scotia?
Matangi: Yeah. I was gonna tell you a lot later, Josie, but...it'd be really unfair for me to tell you later. Especially since you just asked...this....
Josie: Oh...man....

Josie: That---that kinda sucks, doesn't it! You only graduate high school once, and...you only get to do your senior prom once, and...
Matangi: Honestly, Jojo, that stuff kinda always just sucked to me. I don't wanna let something dumb like, worrying about prom get in the way of my life.
Josie: Yeah...yeah, it's just a waste of time....
Matangi: Are you mad?
Josie: No, of course not, Mat. (sigh) I'm just sad that my best friend is moving away and I can't do anything about it.
Matangi: (sigh) I'm sorry, Jojo. Let's not think about it right now. Okay?

Sebastian is obviously the family's main cook. I don't think the fucker even fears death anymore.
Sebastian: Gravity? Oh, he's my little bottom bitch.
I'm not a bottom. That is propaganda.

And who benefits the most from this trade? Why, Sebastian's loving husband, of course.
Percy: My waistline gave up the fight a long time ago. We chunky and we feel good :-)

Jay once came over and started talking to Sebastian specifically about the urns.
Sebastian: ...one is Percy's mother. Francie. She dead when he was twenty-eight. And the other is our son, Oliver.
Jay: Your son? I didn't know you had a son.
Sebastian: He...he died when he was only eight. It was...a completely unexpected thing.
Jay: He was eight. Sebastian, my friend, I'm so sorry. I can't imagine the kind of pain that would be.
Sebastian: Ah, it's alright, man. We learned a long time ago, there's no point dwelling in the misery of it all. And it is miserable--but we can't let that change who we are.
Jay: You're very right. Very, very right, my friend.

Percy: So, do you wanna...? Y'know....
Sebastian: Oh, I think I know....
Josie: Dads, ew! Horny on main much!

It's Christmas in the suburbs! Yay! This is easily my favourite part about the Seasons EP--it certainly isn't the trash-ass rainy weather lighting. What, I'm not bitter.

Happy Winterfest, Scooters! I hope Francie's old ugly sweater isn't itchy, Josie!

Percy went over to chez Silva to snoop some things out.
Percy: Swati, I'm wondering why Mat hasn't come over to ours in over three months.
Swati: Well, I'm thinking the same thing about Josie! Do you think they fought?
Percy: If they have, she hasn't told me about it. In fact, last I heard about Mat, she was about to ask him to prom.
Swati: Aaaaaah. The one he won't go to since we're moving.
Percy: You don't suppose they fought over that...?
Swati: Percy, my dear, don't fret. I will find this out. I was never informally crowned the Number One gossip in my Sri Lankan moms group for no reason. No, I will get to the bottom of this.

We've finally arrived at the time I dreaded the most. The day my G1 baby boys finally get old and grey. First up was Sebastian.
Sebastian: Aaaaaah man, my back. It's time to retire forever.

And my boy Percy was next :-(
Percy: Whew, finally. My time has come. Alright, stop taking pictures of me, I don't want to have lines anymore.

My babies :-( No one talk to me I'm sad as hell that we're here.
Sebastian: Do you regret anything about it?
Percy: No, love. We did everything we needed to. And that's all we'll ever need to do.
Sebastian: (chuckling) I love you, Scooter.
Percy: I love you too, Park.

Random townie who's apparently a premade celebrity named Kayla Flemming: Um, hello! Can't you see I'm pregnant here?
Josie: Uh, yeah, I think that's pretty obvious?

You're looking at two dudes who have finally retired and now they're spending their days baking and watching reruns of weird anime on late night television. That's the life I want to live, truly.

Josie: Dad, you're really letting me drink?
Sebastian: Well, it's your birthday tomorrow. You're about to be your own person. Why not get a taste of adulthood while it's still exciting?
Josie: You mean it stops being exciting after some time?
Sebastian: Oh, my dear. You've got so much ahead of you.

The next day, early in the morning, it was Josie's birthday!
Josie: It's Josefine now.... Actually, no. Never mind. I'll just stay Josie.
Generation 2 is UPON US HONEYS!!!!

As Percy's generation comes to a close and Josie takes the torch for the Scooter name, Percy sold his store. It's finally time.
Percy: Goodbye, my beautiful cash cow. I can't wait for some business magnate to gentrify you into a shitty tapas restaurant.

Seven years later....

Life went on like normal, as it did. Eventually, Josie came to understand that not everything revolved around high school--it was much easier when she wasn't absorbed in it every day.
She drifted around her city for another couple of years, acting on a few of her old interests, but never deciding. She worked, but she never found much love for what she did. Never grew into it either. Percy and Sebastian were fine with it--they didn't want to impose immense pressure on her like so many young adults her age had to go through.
She never forgot about Matangi Silva, though they did keep in touch after his family left for the East Coast. His loss even stopped hurting, and she never got sad about the prom she never went to. It was all high school crap, after all.
But like all things, that faded, too. Maybe it was the online, lack of physical presence aspect that was to blame. Maybe Matangi just became too busy. Maybe Josie became too disheartened. Either way, after a couple years they just...stopped talking. Until...

Josie: (yawning) .... Simstagram? "We think you'd like this account." No. ... Boring. ... Snooze. ...Isn't she a drug lord? ...No. ...N--
Huh? Is that...? No. Hmmmm.

Josie: Dad...where did you say it was that the Silvas moved to a couple years ago?
Sebastian: They moved back to Nova Scotia, dear. I think they said they moved to the East Coast.
Josie: Right, but what was the place, the exact town?
Percy: Why is it so important, Josie?
Josie: I'm...I'm on a mission. I want to find something out.

So began Josie's journey north to the coastal town of Brindleton Bay, She could only imagine the conversations she'd have, the questions she'd ask, the things they'd talk about...the things he could show her. They'd talk about their parents, what they were up to in the years since high school.
So straightforward did her plan seem that she once she'd worked out the logistics, she didn't give it a second thought. Not a month later was Josie caching a cab to the airport. Her destination: Brindleton Bay.

Surely, this couldn't go wrong. Right?
Generation 1: Complete!
**✿❀ ❀✿**
Riiiiight? Well, we'll have to find that one out. I just don't know.
Yet.
See you next time, my friends. Thanks for joining me for the first generation of the Scooter legacy! I'm thinking about starting a new save to post on her, just to break up the Scooter monopoly on my blog space. Probably won't do so until I've made major progress with this save though. I dunno. We shall see. Until then, later!
